Marshall Aerospace and CUED are very pleased to announce a collaborative partnership in the general area of Aeronautics. The collaboration will take place via a Virtual Institute within the Engineering Department.

Aeronautics is an interdisciplinary blend of a whole range of activities: aerodynamics, flow noise and acoustics, structural analysis, materials and material processing, control engineering, electronics and avionics.

CUED has strong groups working within each of these key areas and the 'general engineering' nature of the Department lends itself naturally to interdisciplinary collaborations.
