The objective of the Institute will be to support teaching and research in Aeronautics within the University Engineering Department; in particular, the objective is to link and present CUED's traditional strengths in aerodynamics, aeroengines, structures, materials, electronics and design in a coherent interdisciplinary manner focussed on Aeronautical Engineering.
